As a Breakdown Coordinator, you're working as a problem solver. You're managing and making quick decisions while building relationships with customers and our field technicians. You are taking the initial call from our customer, inputting it into the system, dispatching it out to the appropriate technician and managing the job on all ends serving as the liaison between our customer and our field technician from the start all the way to it concluding along with non job related tasks and issues.
You're the one and only as far as our customers is concerned with making sure their truck, trailer, bus or piece of equipment is repaired in a timely fashion in the event it becomes disabled in one of our 35+ service areas throughout North America.
Your Job:
Take all inbound calls from customers
Input them into dispatch software
Monitor progress of each job you are managing from start to end
Communicate with customer via check calls and email on the current status of each job
Process payments and PO's
Manage daily repairs that your customers may have in process to ensure that they are receiving superior customer service by overseeing and ensuring that we are providing service our mothers would be proud of
Be honest and proactive in your communication to customers and technicians
What you'll need to bring to the table
Open availability during the first and second shift and on weekends. This means you must have the ability to work a 8-10 hour shift between the hours of 8am and 12 midnight on a 5-6 day work schedule that will include weekends and holidays (excluding Thanksgiving & Christmas when we are closed).
A passion for customer service, business development & problem solving
The desire to be a part of Interstate Fleet while contributing to our continued growth
Ability to multitask. That means managing at least two phones, while using email and in house computer programs.
Hall of Fame work ethic, a backbone for effectively communicating with our customers and technicians, and the ability to handle conflict.
Basic computer skills including geographical skills of reading online maps,
Be comfortable working in a fast paced call center with a lot of noise and a lot of action.
